The Ultimate Greek Mixed Case

The month of March is all about Greek Wines here at The Good Wine Shop. Andy, our Assyrtiko-loving Store Manager at Richmond Hill, has curated a mixed case with his all-time favourites, including a sparkling Xinomavro from Domaine Karanika getting you to embark on your very own Greek Odyssey. Discover wines that are as fascinating and diverse as the land and its people. 

This case contains one bottle of each of the wines listed below.

• Domaine Karanika, Extra Cuvee de Reserve Xinomavro 2022

Creamy and yeasty on the nose with ripe red fruits. A crisp palate full of minerality and power tempers its high acidity, creating a balanced and accomplished cuvee.

• Robola, Sangerasimo 2022

Lemon colour with rosemary, thyme and citrus fruits on the nose. Delicate palate with superb herbaceousness fresh citrus and generous acidity

• Argatia, Haroula White Blend 2021

Wonderful floral aromas with pinches of ripe peach and cream. The palate sumptuous ripe  pear, with a super saline finish. There is a nice weight with a bright zip of acidity. Super refreshing and very moreish.

• Garalis, Limnio 2020

A light tawny edge to the colour, some development, fig, tar, leather, a mineral dry extract to begin - that volcanic rock - some bright acidity, savoury maturity. Puzzling gold kettle label

• Lyrarakis, Liatiko Aggelis Vineyard 2020

Ruby in colour. Aromas of berry marmalade and cherry with a light touch of liquorice and sweet spice. The palate is generous with a fruity intensity and fine tannins.

•  Nikolalou Estate, Nemea 2019

Bright and fresh the nose has bramble and bilberry the start of the palate is light. The mid palate has rich ripe black cherry and sloe and although the tannins are firm at the moment there is sweetness more depth of fruit at the back.
