E-commerce Assistant


We are looking for a talented and highly motivated person to join our growing website team based full-time and on-site at our Richmond Hill store in south west London. Ideally this would suit someone in a junior position who is looking to progress to greater levels of responsibility. You will have a chance to be involved in many aspects of the exciting wine and dynamic online world.


Ideal candidate requirements:

  • An e-commerce background with strong awareness of online operations and environment. Experience working with fulfilment, product management and ecommerce software.
  • Shopify experience and dealing with couriers is a plus.
  • Wine and Spirit Education Trust Level 2 qualifications or equivalent wine knowledge and an interest in producing written content for our website would be useful.

Role summary:

  • Reporting directly to and supporting the Ecommerce Manager
  • Manage existing products, online inventory and catalogues as well as creating and researching new products and catalogues
  • Liaise with our existing couriers
  • Online order management and fulfilment
  • Managing customer communications and enquiries via email and telephone as well as after sales care
  • To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the company

Soft skills:

  • A “can do” attitude, self-starter, able to work on their own and have oversight of all day-to-day website order management, fulfilment and administration.
  • Strong organisational skills and an attention to detail as well as being energetic.
  • Excellent numeracy, with strong IT as well as written communication skills with a customer focused mindset.
  • A good degree of common sense as well as the ability to problem solve and be flexible where required.
  • Good commercial awareness, able to contribute to growing the business by identifying opportunities for the business to develop, evolve & grow.
  • Ability to work and communicate as a team, a strong sense of WE rather than ME is essential.

Remuneration and benefits package:

  • Salary: Based on experience for 45 hrs per week, Tue-Sat 9am-6pm (incl. 1hr break).
  • Annual Leave: 20 days per year plus statutory holiday (8 days)
  • Pension: A Statutory pension scheme is in place via NEST with employer contributions of 3%.
  • A generous staff discount scheme is available to all staff.
  • All of the above is subject to a three-month probation period.

Part-time Wine Advisor


We are currently seeking an experienced Wine Advisor to join our teams across our shops in South West London. Working two to three 9-hour shifts per week, including weekends and evenings. Ideally you should be flexible and potentially available for additional shifts if needed.

The position requires energy and enthusiasm as well as the following attributes or experience:

  • Excellent communication and engaging customer service skills together with a minimum of one years wine retail experience.
  • A demonstrable passion for wine and the ability to discuss in depth and advise on of wine, spirits & beer purchases at all levels including fine wine (minimum WSET level 3)
  • Hospitality or table service experience would be beneficial for our drink in offering.
  • Well organised with good IT skills and an attention to detail and energetic.
  • A high level of integrity, reliability and flexibility with a warm and friendly manner.
  • A smart and professional image and attitude, as well as a sense of humour are essential.


Hourly pay based on experience.
