We deliver throughout the European Union and all delivery charges for these destinations are enabled in the checkout. Are there any exceptions?
At present we have not enabled rates for Mediterranean islands such as Corsica, Sardinia, Majorca and the Greek islands. Such island destinations are excluded from our EU country rates because they are more expensive.
Since Brexit - Do I have to pay local duties and taxes?
Please be aware that your delivery may also be subject to customs duties and taxes, over which we have no control, and which must be borne by you. No returns will be accepted in cases where the customer refuses to pay the duties and as a result, the package is sent back to sender.
When will my order be delivered?
All orders should be delivered within 7-12 working days unless we advise you otherwise. Delivery will take place on Monday to Friday. European deliveries do not take place on weekends.
Can I receive my goods at an alternative address?
Yes of course - just enter the relevant delivery address at checkout. If you are a regular customer then it is best to set up all your delivery addresses in your account and then they will all be available at checkout. If you are a UK resident holidaying within the EU then we can deliver to your holiday home - but would advise that it would be sensible to plan this 3-4 weeks in advance to time the delivery with your arrival. We do require phone numbers for all addresses to ensure accurate and timely delivery. If you are visiting from overseas and would like your order delivered to your hotel on a specific day, please feel free to enter the hotel address and your arrival-departure dates. We cannot deliver to Post Office boxes.
What happens if I am not there to accept the delivery?
If you are not going to be there to receive the delivery of your wine, don’t worry. You can either designate a safe place for the delivery in the “Special Delivery Instructions” section of the checkout (for example: leave at back of the house or leave with neighbour) or our courier will leave a card so that you can contact them and rearrange delivery at a more convenient time. Please note if you choose to have your order left with a neighbour or put outside your premises and not signed for we cannot hold any responsibility for loss whatsoever.
What are your delivery charges?
EU Zone 1 - £15 per case of 12 or part thereof.
EU Zone 2 - £27 per case of 12 or part thereof.
EU Zone 3 - £35 per case of 12 or part thereof.
Zone 3 Countries:
Bulgaria, Croatia, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Sweden.
If you have any special delivery requirements please call 020 3489 5160 or email us at email@example.com. For example, for orders of 240 bottles or more we can often arrange pallet deliveries to EU destinations at very competitive prices.
What happens if any of my wines are damaged?
If you receive your order and some or all of the bottles are broken or damaged please let us know immediately by contacting us on 020 3489 5160 or firstname.lastname@example.org. For European deliveries we will only credit your account for damaged bottles due to the high shipping charges to resend.
