Case of wine sent to friend in Spain, good value, delivered in 10 days, overall excellent service
One of those wines that everyone seems to like but a bit different at the same time.
This was the most efficient and friendly order I have ever placed on line.
The wine of my choice is excellent. The service was friendly and superb. The shipping was speedy and the packaging was unbelievable.
I highly recommend The Good Wine Shop without hesitation. You can only be pleased with the result.
Champagne Pierre Peters, Cuvee Reserve NV
Full, warm welcoming. Gorgeous
sent to a friend so not sure until he drinks up!
I was seeking a wine to pair with Sea bass ceviche with mango, cucumber and avocado and was looking for the classic riesling acidity but with a slightly off-dry palate to combine with the mango. The warmer climate of the Eden Valley provided a ripeness of riesling that fitted the bill perfectly.
This is a fine example of a well made Cabernet Franc with typical aromas and flavours.
Easy to order with excellent service.Delivered the next day, faultless.
Aniello, 006 Merlot 2017
I had ordered a number of wines for a virtual dinner party at relatively short notice. The staff were very responsive to my email requesting that I needed to be able to pick up the wine very quickly and winthin a couple of hours I received confirmation that the wines were ready for collection.
We’re on our second case of this selection. Good quality and variety of grape varieties. Perfect for drinking too much of in the garden with neighbours.
A truly spectacular Italian white from a farming cooperative in Alto Aldine. We found this wine last year, and it’s silky smooth texture and fruit aroma is a perfect match for fish or white meat.
My favourite wine at this price point. Please don’t publish this as I want your supply for myself!
From ordering to delivery, everything was good. The wine is excellent and I will certainly order this wine again.
Really lipsmacking EdM with good length
Well-chosen selection - so good we reordered as soon as first case finished.
Very enjoyable lot. Good mix of styles and no duds! Will buy again.
Scotto Cellars, Grace Bridge Pinot Noir 2016
My task: Order wine for customers in the UK from across the pond.
I was able to easily use the site and order my items. The shipments went out in a timely matter. The status of the shipments and dates of delivery were clearly advised. Problem solved mission complete. Thanks from your American Cousin
Crisp, clean refreshing!
Qualitative selection of wine and fast and safe delivery
The color is intense golden, the bubbles are small and the mousse is elegant. This wine has a gorgeous, sensual aroma of apricot jam, candied and fresh ginger, chicory root, caramelized endives, dried peaches, kiwi, cardamom, beeswax and tobacco. Later in the glass it showed bread pudding, delicate coffee, dried lemon potpourri and incense. The mouthfeel is rich and vinous but with tension, fabulous. On the palate you get baked apple, juicy pear, candied angelica root, blood orange, quince cheese, caramel, crème au beurre with vanilla – smooth and nothing too lactic and a hint of English allsorts. The finish is long exciting with yellow raisins, delicate lemon, toast, nougat and a hint of minerality. Use a large glass, treat it like a top white Burgundy and give it time to open up. A champagne that makes me euphoric and my girlfriend too excited. The perfect pairing for this wine would be truffle vol au vent with rooster chanterelle and sweetbreads, Bocuse style! I definitely see a bright future for this wine. I would love to try it again in 10 years. Personally I like it even more than 2002. What a lovely champagne to conclude Corona Tasting v1!

An absolutely fantastic mixed case: I am yet to try a wine that I haven't loved. Incredible service on the speedy delivery (as I'm local), too. Cannot recommend this case more: treat yourself!
The bottles we have drunk so far have been really good. Not cheap but well worth the extra. Very impressed with the speed of delivery. We will be back.
Pineapple grapefruit apple then mineral followed by toasty long finish
Leather tar tobacco and then blackberry cherry plum
Delicious. Working out way through it
The Republic of Texas didn’t last long. Neither will this whiskey.
I generally prefer rye whiskey or single malt to the corn-sweetness of Bourbon but when a cocktail requires it, you need a good go-to bottle. This is on the pricey end of the scale but very nice in a spiked apple cider drink or a Boulevardier.

Enjoying the wine. And it was delivered so easily and by such a charming driver.
Everyday Mixed Tasting Case
Excellent all round.
