Many many heartfelt thanks to you all at “The good wine shop”,
Looking forwards to doing much more business with you all,👏👏
Nose - creamy citrus fruit gums the orange ones!
Palate - is rich and round tangerine baked green apple with a lovely herby biscuit finish
very clean taste and enjoyable
Sileni estates wines are just brilliant with a fresh taste and long flavour, you continue to taste your wine long after you’ve taken a sip. I have purchased multiple times and will continue to stick with this one. Goes with everything, including sunshine.!
This is an absolute pleasure to drink, not quite Champagne in taste but not Champagne priced either.
If you like to drink Cava this is a wonderful one, even better it’s lower in sugars without compromising the taste.
If you like a dry white wine, with floral and herb notes, and with length and depth, then go for one of the Olifantsberg white offerings. An Australian som once gave me another term for 'body', when she explained that 'this is wine with grunt'. Great value. If it were in stock, I'd buy more.
I haven't had much wine from the island, but I certainly will have to try some others because this wine drinks beautifully and has all the fruit that I tend to look for.
This Cannonau also brings enough structure to the glass behind all that fruit to deliver a very well-balanced red wine that is so easy to drink that the bottle most likely won't survive the evening.
Well, the 15% ABV probably also contributes to that fullness and reminds me of the many GSM blends from the Californian coast that I enjoyed when living there. It's a great value for the price!
This gin has to be my favourite so far. It's got a lot of flavour whilst having a 'clean' pallette.
Light bodied with lovely creamy texture. Red apples and floral aromas with a hint of lemon and lime. Perfect with fish or on its own as an aperitif.
Entry level from Maison Stephan. Domaine makes some of the most interesting and intense wines in all Cote Rotie. This syrah delivers the dark fruit and violets you normally get in a mid-range Cote Rotie at VdF prices.
Bought for a friend that likes new world Sauvignon Blanc ..she loved it !
It's such a great champagne.
Every scent and taste is excellent.
I am so happy to save Emmanuel Brochet.
