A nose of Plum, blackberry and dates with a hint of spice. The palate explodes with black pepper and oak tannins balanced with sour cherries and rich dark fruits. A long finish with dry tannins and warming spice.

A series called the Sommelier Selection, an evolution of the Small Batch Collaboration series aimed at capturing the flavours from some of the world’s most renowned wine regions. This fifth release in the series draws on the desire to innovate using the finest Portuguese wine barrels. For this release Teeling have selected, ex-Red Wine Casks from the Douro region in Northern Portugal to create an expression unique to Irish Whiskey.
