With its 700m of altitude, Lamole is considered the roof of the Chianti Classico, resulting in a wine with intense and fragrant notes of violets and red fruits, mild and sweet tannins and a long finish. Ideal with a beef ragù.
The Grapes and hand harvested and sorted in the vineyard. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel containers at maximum temperatures of 26C, with 9 days of maceration. After fermentation the wine is partly aged in tank and barrels of 500 litres of second and third passage French oak.
The I Fabbri winery is a keen part of the community on the hill of Lamole, growing a range of different produce. Wine and oil that are a story of ancient values, of clean agriculture, of a unique territory that is situated in the highest part of the Chianti Classico, between the terraced vineyards, woods and olive trees.
They are in Biodynamic conversion but are certified organic currently.
With its 700 meters of altitude, Lamole is considered the roof of the Chianti Classico. Nine hectares of vineyards and two of olive trees, set in an extraordinary hilly environment surrounded by woodland, with the ancient village that like a wise man watches its land. Here the vineyards founder their roots in centenary terraces shaped like a natural amphitheatre, exposed towards the south, south-west.
