Description

Lovely aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry and rose petal with white pepper and light earthiness. The palate shows raspberry and tart cherry fruit, light but dense with earthy acidity and a lingering finish. Refined, understated & so classy.

Delivery Information

100% Pineau d'Aunis from old vines in clay with silex soils over limestone in the Coteaux du Loir. 15 days of semi-carbonic maceration. Slow pressing and blended with the "jus de goutte" followed by ageing in 3 and 4-year-old barrels.

Domaine de la Roche Bleue was established in 2008 by Sebastien Cornille, a native of Sancerre, with 3.5 hectares in Jasnieres and 1.5 hectares in the Coteaux-du-Loir. Now totalling about 6.5 hectares, the estate is certified organic and uses biodynamic methods as well. Sebastien works the soils without deep plowing, harvests by hand, vinifies with wild yeasts and without additives and uses minimal SO2.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom and the European Union and all delivery charges for these destinations are enabled in the checkout. We also provide the option to collect from any of our shops.
