Chsteau Villefranche is recognised as one of the oldest wine estates in the Sauternes region. It has been in the family since the mid XVII century. This wine is a blend of Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc. The bouquet has notes of ripe, exotic fruits which carry through to the palate. Although the wine is sweet it has great balancing acidity. Fantastic value from a good year for Sauternes!

Chateau Villefranche is recognised as one of the oldest wine estates in the Sauternes region. It has been in the Guinabert family since the mid XVII century. The estate extends over to the Haut-Barsac plateau with its rich argilo-calcareous soil types. The grape varieties used to produce their white wines include three major varietals: Sauvignon, Muscadelle and Semillon. These create delicate, elegant and fine wines.
