Bodega Garage, 'Tinta Tinto' Syrah 2017

This is a real Garage Wine -a family project lead by Roberto Carranca (winemaker at Indomita in Casablanca for more than a decade), his wife Javiera,who designs the wonderful labels and their 2 daughters. From multi-national to rigourously artisanal winemaking in less than 2 years took some guts. The wines have been very well received, sitting perfectly in Chile's new wave of winemaking -based on old bush vine fruit -Syrah in this case within spitting distance of the Casablanca coast, hand-picked, naturally fermented in concrete tanks the better to show the purity, concentrationand freshness of the fruit.
