In the glass this Flor del Inca Malbec from Bodega Los Toneles in Argentina has a lovely bright ruby colour with a violet twinkle, typical for the variety. Likewise, on the nose there is fresh red fruit complemented with some floral notes. Fresh acidity is balanced by juicy, enticing fruit, a medium body and soft tannins.

The manual harvest is always done during the first hours of the morning to ensure that the grapes arrive at low temperatures to the winery. The clusters that do not complete the health and quality requirements are discarded in the vineyard.

Pre-fermentation maceration happens at 10 º C for 48 hours in concrete tanks.
The three-week fermentation takes place at 25 º C, with moderate extraction methods, achieving a fresh and fruity wine of
medium structure. The wine goes through 100% malolactic fermentation giving the a tad of additional roundness.
The wine is in contact contact with oak staves - French (50%) and
American (50%), medium toast - for four month.

Bodega Los Toneles, founded in 1922, owns several wineries in the Mendoza region.
