Ziereisen Tschuppen Spatburgunder, Baden, Germany, 2015

About this wine

"Aromas of mulberry and graphite demonstrate that in 2014 the Tschuppen sought its strength in a fine balance between fruit and minerality. On the palate the wine shows a little blackberry, but is not really fruit driven and relies on a savoury composition of herbal and inky notes to appeal to the taste buds. A healthy measure of acidity provides plenty of backbone". (MS) jancisrobinson.com
