The nose has lovely intensity to it full of fruit tones, apple, pineapple and crisp citrus fruits. Underlying this is sift hints of herbs and freshly baked bread. Fresh, pleasant, and rounded on the palate showing a balanced of acidity against richness.
Pazo Pondal, Leira Albarino, Spain 2022
Complex aromas of flowers, citrus and white pear with notes of cut grass and menthol. Moreish with a delicious salinity on the finish.
Leza Garcia, Rioja Reserva, Spain 2018
Savoury notes, black fruits, blackcurrant leaf and cherries define the nose and the palate of this Reserva. It is rounded and soft, with plenty of freshness – a signature of Leza Garcia's wines. Well-integrated oak doesn't stand in the way of shiny, bright fruit. Its long, warm finish with spice and a hint of earthiness give us a lovely autumn, wintery feel. A gastronomic wine.
