The vineyards cling to the slopes of Mount Etna, where the soils are a mix of volcanic ash, pumice, and basalt. These conditions stress the vines just enough to produce grapes of concentrated flavour and aromatic intensity. The cultivation is meticulous, with an emphasis on sustainability and harmony with the surrounding environment. This care extends through every step of the winemaking process, from hand-harvesting the grapes at their optimal ripeness to the fermentation and aging that follow. Fermentation takes place with indigenous yeasts , and aging in oak barrels is judiciously managed to ensure that the wood’s influence enhances rather than masks the grapes’ natural vibrancy. The result is a wine that balances the power and grace inherent in the best Etna Rosso.

Emiliano Falsini aims to produce wines in the most authentic way possible, with minimal winemaking interventions and maximum respect for the environment and the terroir.

Emiliano currently produces wines from the Nerello Mascalese vines that he grows on the northern slope of Etna at Contrada Feudo Pignatone, as well as his Cabernet Franc vineyards in Debbiacci Le Sondraie in the municipality of Castagneto Carducci.

  • Free delivery on orders over £125

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 1-3 working days.
