With Christmas celebrated all around the world we thought it only to be fitting to curate a collection of wines reflecting this global event. Though it is impossible to be in six different countries across three continents within a day, with our Christmas Around the World you can do so bottle by bottle at least.

- Furleigh Estate, Classic Cuvee Brut, England 2018
This Traditional Quality Sparkling Wine is made from a combination of Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. These classic French varieties give this wine a creamy mousse, a fruity and harmonious taste and good length focussed on freshness.
- Matthiasson, Linda Vista Chardonnay, USA 2020
Golden delicious apples, yellow peaches, musk melon, and honey on the nose and through to the palate, the medium acidity is balanced by pleasant fleshiness, finishing very clean with a hint of minerality. Refreshing and with moderate alcohol, this wine is all about pleasure, begging to be drunk up, with some oysters or a roast chicken and a big smile.
- Katharina Wechsler, Riesling Kirchspiel Feinherb, Germany 2021
A off-dry style from Katharinas Kirchspiel Vineyard. Produced in only small quantities and only in good Kabinett years of which 2021 is rumoured to be one of the best in the last few decades. Drink this now yes. But with some time in the cellar this will shine.
- Kara-Tara, Pinot Noir, South Africa 2021
An elegant, lightly-wooded style of Pinot Noir showing classic strawberry and red cherry notes coupled with a hint of spice. A firm, yet silky-smooth tannin-structure supports the lovely bright fruit characteristics of the wine.
- Chateau Branaire Ducru, Le Haut Medoc de Branaire Ducru, France 2018
A wine which balances savoury and fruit in harmony. The nose has ripened black currant, black cherry and a cigar box spice. Full in body and very giving these same fruits fill the palate and that classic earthiness shines.
- Reverdito, Nebbiolo Langhe Simane, Italy 2020
A fantastic alternative to Barolo that does much less damage to your wallet! This Piedmontese red is 100% Nebbiolo and delivers the deep, delicious red fruit notes you expect from the grape variety as well as hints of liquorice and tobacco. Gathering a real following in our shops and perfect with roast beef or game.
