Intense ruby red with lifted aromas of ripe red cherry, wild berries, plum, and violet, accented by hints of sweet spice and subtle earthiness. On the palate it is bright, juicy, and medium-bodied, driven by Barbera’s hallmark lively acidity. Flavors of fresh cherry, raspberry, and cranberry unfold alongside notes of licorice and gentle oak. The texture is smooth and energetic, finishing with clean, refreshing acidity and a touch of minerality. Excellent with pasta al ragù, grilled sausages, pizza with cured meats, roasted vegetables, and aged cheeses.
