Le Good Wine Shop Nouveau est arrivé!

Yes! Better than a Beaujolais ( more like a fine claret sprung from the cellar), the new Good Wine Shop store on Richmond Hill ( 56 Friars Stile Road) opened for business on November 6.

You are welcome to join us for a special launch evening to celebrate the opening of the new shop.  We'll be opening a selection of interesting bottles and have invited some of our favourite suppliers to come in and pour.  The £10 ticket is redeemable against purchases over £30 on the night and includes all wines on tasting, accompanied by a selection of cheese and charcuterie. You can purchase tickets on our Tasting Events page but be quick..places are limited.

Just minutes from Richmond Park and the famous Richmond Hill viewpoint - the only view in Britain specifically preserved by an Act of Parliament, inspiring countless artists and writers - all of us at the shop look forward to welcoming local residents and loyal customers alike and sharing the stories of our wonderful wines.

Our senior store manager, Ben Craighead, well wined veteran of our Chiswick and Kew shops is the interim manager of the new store as we build our local team.  Ben is a trained sommelier with over a decade of experience in the hospitality sector both in the UK and internationally and recently completed his Wine & Spirits Education Trust diploma. Though particularly fond of Italian Barolos, Oregon Pinot Noir and single malt whisky, he can nonetheless expound cheerfully on everything from Swartland white blends to Japanese gins.

Richmond Hill Store - Now Open!

We're open every day ( opening hours here ) so pop in for a glass, a bottle or just to say hello.!

Cheers

The Good Wine Shop Team
