Grapes are typically harvested from sandstone-shale or granite-based soils. The wine undergoes fermentation in old French oak barrels of varying sizes to avoid imparting dominant wood flavours.
Matured on the lees (the yeast sediment) for several months, which adds a subtle savoury complexity and a creamy "biscuity" mouthfeel without the use of new oak


Leon Coetzee and Margaux Nel (a husband-and-wife duo known for "coaxing" quality out of little-known regions). The Fledge & Co. operates with a "winery status: just Leon & Margaux!" approach, focusing on minimal intervention.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom with no minimum order requirement. For Mainland UK deliveries, the following charges apply:
