Description

On the nose this wines has a lovely nutty element alongside a beautiful floral honeysuckle.  The palate opens with a sweet nuttiness reminiscent of chestnut and cashew. It is a creamy, subtle vanilla, yet so fresh with grapefruit, linear and zesty with a tangy end. Perfect  balance from the subtle, floral Acacia oak seems to  give less obvious oak whilst maintaining mouthfeel without getting too toasty, or overly spicy.

Chardonnay from the Turnau Vineyard is a unique wine. It has been fermented in American Oak and matured in acacia
barriques. It made our Chardonnay a full body wine. It is perfect to drink right now but it has 3-5 years maturation potential.

Turnau Jerzy Turnau, was a landowner and creator of agricultural courses in the town of Lviv. History did not allow for a direct continuation of his work, but one of his great-grandsons Zbigniew Turnau has been running a large farm for many years, dealing with the cultivation of cereals crops with the help of his son Jacek. The favourable location and fruit-friendly climate finally gave rise to the question maybe it would be possible to make wine?

Turnau Chardonnay

Beautiful wine from Poland. Amazing colour and a stunning wine for the price point. If this wine was French it’ll be double the price. Buy this wine, you will not regret it.
