Founder of the Scholium Project and LA River Wine Company in California. Abe is known for his unconventional and experimental approach to viticulture and winemaking. He founded the Scholium Project, a winery that emphasizes the exploration of unconventional techniques and the unique characteristics of vineyard sites. In addition to the Scholium Project, Abe also founded the LA River Wine Company, which continues his commitment to crafting distinctive wines from unique vineyards. The focus is on producing small batch, high-quality wines with a strong sense of place, by working with lesser-known grape varieties and employing meticulous vineyard management practices. Across his two wineries, Abe's dedication to pushing boundaries of traditional winemaking and his passion for creating unique and expressive wines shines through with every bottle.
