From Jaen, where it is dry with no rainfall for 6 months and an average of 46 degree temperatures in the heat of summer where normally just Olive trees grow. Pedro calls this his 'miracle' wine, it is his 2nd vintage - The vimeyards were abandoned for 50 years and the vines are 60 years old. Given a 10-12 day maceration with stems & pressed into vats, just 2000 bottles have been produced.
Pedro Olivares Wines arises from a feeling of creativity towards winemaking. It is intended to represent the work of nature guided by man, wines made in the vineyard and magnified in the cellar. VBPO creates exclusive collections, sometimes unique in the world.
