Description

Complex nose, showing remarkable menthol and cut grass notes, typical of their vineyards, accompanied by persistent floral overtones. On the palate, citrus notes - particularly lime - stands out alongside white fruit such as pear. There's also a delicious saline note that runs the length of the palate, culminating in a moreish finish. The wine is broad, but backed up by wonderful acidity.

Traditional and partially organic. Manual harvesting in crates of 20 kg and careful manual selection of the grapes before processing them. It comes from the youngest plots of our vineyard, boosted with native yeasts that enhance their Galician DNA.

Fermented in stainless steel at low temperature to preserve floral, fruity freshness.

Pazo Pondal is a family winery founded in 1998. Located in Arbo (Pontevedra), one of the best sub-regions for Rias Baixas D.O. Albarino.

The family winery has a history of striving to produce wines that express their terroir, wines that are full of the fruit and floral aromas that characterise the complexity and style of Pazo Pondal wines.

The estate, sits on the north bank of the Rio Mino, and includes 15 hectares of trellised vineyards where  Albarino, the Galician grape par excellence, is cultivated with great care and dedication.
