Description

Fruit from two sites very near the premier cru of Montmains. Done entirely in stainless to preserve the impeccable fruit this is just so moreish. Racey acidity as we've come to expect from Piuze but this also has something herbaceous going on.

Fermented and aged in tank. The village level "Terroir" series wines are fermented and aged mostly in old stainless steel tanks that are not temperature controlled.

One of the most exciting Chablis producers, Patrick Piuze was born in Montreal and established his own label in Chablis in 2008 having worked for the likes of Olivier Leflaive, Jean-Marc Brocard and Jean-Marie Guffens.

His deep knowledge of the Chablis’ terroir and his long-term relationships with the growers allows him to work with some of the most exciting parcels of vines in the entire region from Petit Chablis to Chablis Grand Cru.
