The grapes are crushed and destemmed immediately after picking, and are left on the skins in tanks for a week. Aged in tanks - no oak, the wine is bottled only when perfect balance is achieved, generally late in the spring following the vintage.

Our most important heritage is not our soil, our vineyards or our wine cellar, but the concept of the perfect Barolo that we have in our minds, handed down to us from those who preceded us. This consists of the aspiration to perfection, achieving things starting from their true essence, mobilising all our forces and taking inspiration each day from our work, thus bringing to fruition all the aims that the Conterno family has been pursuing for four generations, always faithful to our true tradition.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom with no minimum order requirement. For Mainland UK deliveries, the following charges apply:

  • £15 for orders below £75
  • £9.99 for orders below £125
  • Free delivery on orders over £125

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 1-3 working days.
