Meyer Family Vineyards, Micro Cuvee Pinot Noir McLean Creek Vineyard 2020

For the 2020 Micro Cuvee, the grapes predominantly came from a block of Pommard Clone 91 with Clone 115 contributing one quarter. Winemaker, Chris Carson, selected two new French oak 500 litre puncheons from the Tronçais forest along with four one-year-old French oak puncheons from the Tronçais and Vosges forests to make up the Micro Cuvee. In keeping with their philosophy to maintain, as much as possible, a hands-off approach in the cellar to allow the true expression of terroir, this wine is unfined and unfiltered.

Hand-harvested and hand-crafted, with great attention to detail and minimal winemaking intervention. Meyer Family Vineyards wines are produced from two main vineyards, the 1.62-hectare “Old Main Road” vineyard on the Naramata Bench and the 6.9-hectare “McLean Creek Road” vineyard in Okanagan Falls. We also work with passionate quality-minded growers in Kaleden and the East Kelowna area to round out our portfolio of terroir-driven wines.

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 1-3 working days.
