Markus Iro, Splitterfasernackt 2022

Natural, unfiltered Neuburger from the surroundings of Gols on a diverse soil structure of lime, gravel, clay and sand. A wine fermented in stainless steel tanks with light skin contact, without additives. Aged for 6 months in used barrique over yeast lees.

Markus Iro is one of the recently emerging producers from Gols. They work 50,688 vines which are growing on about 20 hectares of diverse soil type lands. These treasured vines are cared for thoroughly and with much love. This allows Markus the opportunity to be inspired, to give the wine exactly as much time as it needs, to try out exactly the things that are interesting and promising, and therefore an exquisite finish product. Ingrid and Markus Iro have vines in the most famous locations of the region namely Gabarinza, Herrschaftswald, Ungerberg, Altenberg, Edelgrund, Hochreit and Heideboden.
