Big, ripe black cherry with smoky notes and hints of mushroom peeking out behind rich fruit. Fleshy black plum, with layers of cherry and sweet berries that play on the palate and dance with notes of violet. Dry tannins and hints of cigar make this a versatile wine to pair with turkey, salmon, lamb and beef.

Erica and Kim use 100% organic processes to grow their grapes allowing both sites to fully express pure and naked terroir in their wines. The Loveblock team believe in sharing the love affair between humans and the land through their wines, and employ the lowest-intervention farming techniques possible.
Loveblock is the love-child of Kim and Erica Crawford, created after a short break from the industry and the sale of their first wine label, which still carries Kim’s full name. Founded in the early 2000’s high on the hills overlooking Marlborough’s Awatere Valley, Loveblock is anchored in two distinct plots, Hillside and Woolshed. In 2008 they also planted in Central Otago in order to produce authentic Pinot Noir.
