Lieu Dit Cabernet Franc is a remarkable wine that hails from the Santa Ynez Valley in California. This red wine showcases the true essence of the Cabernet Franc grape, with its bold flavours and elegant structure. Farmed organically on clay loam with serpentine cobble soils. The grapes - 50% whole bunch - are then gently fermented using indigenous yeasts. The wine is pressed into 5 year old barrels for aging, before being bottled in late spring.

Lieu Dit Winery was established back in 2011 by Eric Railsback and Justin Willett, two wine enthusiasts who shared a love for the art of winemaking and enjoyed trips to France together. The name "Lieu Dit", which means "said place" in French, was chosen to reflect the winery’s dedication and connection to the grapes of the Loire Valley. Throughout the years their commitment has remained steadfast in crafting balanced wines. They aim to highlight the flavours of each varietal, while ensuring a blend of complexity and balance.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom with no minimum order requirement. For Mainland UK deliveries, the following charges apply:

  • £9.99 for orders below £125
  • Free delivery on orders over £125

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 1-3 working days.
