Organic Chenin Blanc grapes were hand harvested and underwent direct press into foudre for fermentation with indigenous yeast. Aged in old barrels for 12 months. Bottled with no filtration, fining or added sulphur.
Philippe Delmee was a maths teacher who was tired of the constraints of the classroom - he made the move to winemaking in 2006. After studying for two years, he started working with Benoit Courault and Domaines des Griottes, and Benoit helped him find a one-hectare parcel in Faye d’Anjou. He farms around 6ha across 16 parcels around Faye d’Anjou and Faveraye; the soils are mostly porous sand and schist with only a little clay.

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 1-3 working days.
