Fermentation was spontaneous with native yeasts, without temperature control, in 500 L Hungarian oak barrels. Aging in Hungarian oak for 12 months.

The story of Lenkey began in the summer of 1999, when Geza Lenkey bought ten hectares of vineyards in Tokaj-Hegyalja, Mad and Bodrogkeresztúr. Three siblings Krisztina, Csaba and Geza - had no idea what this meant and how much their seemingly carefree lives would change. At first everything went like clockwork. Geza was growing grapes and making wine down in Mád, Krisztina and family were in Budapest managing the good and bad things of wood turning workshops. They visited Hegyalja every two months, saw the "Hegyfarka" (perhaps the view from this vineyard is the most beautiful!), tasted the wines in the cellar, and then went to lunch at a restaurant called Sárga Borház, as befits a "real landowner".
