A wonderfully expressive Sauvignon Blanc with aromas of yellow apple, lightly spiced gooseberry and a subtle hint of freshly cut grass. The palate is vibrant and energetic, with juicy acidity, impressive tension and a distinctive slate-like minerality. Beautifully textured, with a long fresh finish that brings to mind the precision of a fine Riesling.

Sourced from southwest-facing vineyards overlooking Lake Colbún, where wind blown volcanic ash soils contribute to the wine's distinctive character. The graes undergo six hours of skin contact before temperature controlled fermentation in stainless steel using selected yeasts. The wine then spends six months on its lees to develop texture and complexity before being bottled without filtration.

High above the shores of Lake Colbún in Chile's Maule Valley, Rafael Tirado has created one of the country's most distinctive wine estates.

Founded in 1993, Laberinto takes its name from the extraordinary labyrinth-like pattern of its vineyards, planted to follow the natural contours of the landscape. At approximatley 700 metres above sea leave, the vines are influenced by the Andes, with volcanic ash and granite soils helping to shape wines of remarkable freshness, texture and individuality.

Tirado's philosophy centres on expressing this unique place through careful vineyard management and thoughtful, minimally interventional winemaking. The resulting wines combine the generous fruit character associated with Chile with elegance, precision and a distinctive mineral edge.

Laberinto has earned considerable international recognition, includinng inclusion among Chile's First Growths in Tim Atkin's classification, establishing Rafael Tirado as one of the country's most exciting producers.
