Description

This stunning Chardonnay delivers a highly-pitched nose of pineapple, lemon curd, flint and peony. The attack is rich yet precise, offering lip-smacking flavours of white peach, freshly baked pastries, toasted Marcona almonds and citrus zest. The mid-palate is silky and vibrant with a finish that lasts for nearly a full minute.

Hand harvesting and organic practices are meticulously followed. In the winery there is a focus on ageing in old wooden puncheons with spontaneous Malo allowed to occur.

Anthony's passion for white wine, no doubt, stemmed from his father’s distaste for it. It’s not that he set out to make white wine out of spite, but rather, he inspired me. You see, he claimed to only like red wine, so it became Anthony's goal to find balanced and interesting whites that he would like. It didn’t take long as he slowly beghis own wine, it was an easy decision to focus on making white wines. All of his wines are not only for those drinkers that enjoy the nuances of a handcrafted white wine, but also for those who pretend not to.
