A light, cool and fresh wine with a delicate texture from the skin contact. Full of orange blossom and citrus fruit aromas, a hint of toffee and a mouth-watering saline and mineral finish.

75% is Jacquere from an organically farmed limestone vineyard in Savoie at 480m asl with 25% Len de l'El from Gaillac in SW France. They are vinified together and spend a month on skins, more like an infusion and much more subtle than other skin contact wine, all in fibre-glass tank. The Len then spends 6 months in old barrels, blended with the Jacquere & rested for 3 months before bottling. 

Joanna is from Poland originally, she did an internship with Arianna Occhipinti, who allowed her to buy some grapes & make her own wine whilst there. Joanna moved to South West France in 2019 to make her own negoce wine. Maninalto means 'hands off' in Italian & refers to both farming and her winemaking. They are experimental wines - in a good way. The wax hat is saffron-infused to give a more natural look.
