This full-bodied Blanc de Noirs displays lifted aromas of citrus, crunchy apple and pear, with rich toasty notes and a strong chalky minerality on the finish.

100% Pinot Noir from Premier Cru vineyards in the villages of Ecueil and Villiers-aux-Noeuds. Fermentation half in barrels and half in stainless steel vats. Limited production of 20,000 bottles.

Frédéric Savart is a boutique producer of Champagne from tiny organically-farmed parcels in the villages of Ecueil and Villers-aux-Noeuds.

Frédéric's grandfather had planted his first vines in 1947 and later passed his tiny property to his son. Frédéric worked alongside his father whilst purchasing more holdings, until taking over completely in 2005.

But the youngest Savart isn't doing things the same way his father did. He immediately did away with herbicides and pesticides, and took a much more labour intensive approach, including ensuring that any planting he did was with a selection massale of cuttings from his grandfather's oldest plots.

His wines have a balance of vibrancy and flavour that is utterly compelling and their scarcity is testament to their already high global demand.
