A magnificent mature Barolo, displaying remarkable complexity and elegance. Layers of dark cherry, blackberry and dried flowers mingle with exotic spice, earthy undertones and a distinctive mineral edge.

The palate is beautifully developed, with concentrated fruit, refined tannins and wonderful freshness despite its age. Savoury complexity and subtle floral notes unfold towards an exceptionally long, elegant finish.

A superb example of mature Nebbiolo, offering both depth and finesse.

Produced from 100% Nebbiolo grown in the prestigious Fossati vineyard in La Morra, at altitudes of 370–420 metres. At the time of harvest, approximately 30% of the vines were 60 years old, contributing concentration and aromatic complexity.

Following a 20-day fermentation, the wine spent its first year in barriques, 40% new, before a further year in large oak vats and additional maturation in concrete prior to bottling.

This combination of oak and concrete ageing allows the wine’s structure and distinctive vineyard character to develop beautifully.

The Boglietti family’s winemaking story began in 1991, when Enzo decided to leave dairy farming behind and concentrate on the vineyards inherited from his grandparents. Starting with fewer than three hectares, borrowed equipment and a converted stable, he gradually built one of La Morra’s most respected family-run wineries.

Today, Enzo works alongside his children, Linda and Matteo, farming approximately 22 hectares across some of Piemonte’s most celebrated vineyard sites, including Brunate, Fossati and Boiolo. The estate’s vineyards have been certified organic since the 2017 vintage, with all grapes harvested by hand.

Over the years, the family’s approach has evolved towards greater elegance and vineyard expression, with less reliance on new oak and heavy extraction. From fresh, vibrant everyday wines to beautifully structured, age-worthy Barolo, the Boglietti wines reflect both the character of their vineyards and the family’s dedication to quality.
