Saint-Bris from a 4.4 hectare north-facing vineyard planted with 20 year old vines and shares many attributes with top bottlings of Sancerre from terres blanches soils.
A family run estate, the first traces date back to the 14th century, is located in the wine-growing village of Saint-Bris it is surrounded by Irancy, Chablis and Auxerre. At the heart of the vineyards of northern Burgundy in the department of Yonne the 30-hectare estate covers the communes of Saint-Bris, Irancy and Chablis. It was in 1979 that (Ghislaine and Jean-Hugues) took over the family business, for them it has always been key to pay attention to the land, it is from this respect for the land that the logic of cultivating differently appeared. as obvious. After having adopted the organic farming method for many years, a request for certification is filed with ECOCERT, the estate has been certified since 2001.
