Description

The wonderful appellation of Ladoix is famed for its red wines but the whites are pretty special as well. The nose offers a heavenly mix of exotic citrus fruits with a floral touch. The palate is harmonious with a lovely texture and a slight note of sweetness on the finish. A complex and beautifully crafted wine.

Delivery Information

The grapes are put in a pneumatic press and rested until settled for around 24 hours. Fermentation takes place in oak barrels 40% of these are new barrels, on lees with batonnage. Bottling is on average 11 months later.

The Domaine Cachat-Ocquidant, now managed by Jean Marc Cachat, is located in the village of Ladoix at the foot of the famous Corton mountain. In addition to a larger range of red wines, very interesting white wines are also produced to a lesser extent, which sommeliers often refer to as insider tips. For a long time, Jean Marc tended the plots of Coche-Dury at the legendary Corton and he also assisted in the development of the wines at Coche. They always show mineral appellation character with contemporary vinification and a lot of sensitivity when using wood.
