A delicate saline and bright citrus pops on the nose of this delightful Sicilian white. The palate has more fresh citrus crisp apple skin along side a scrumptious spicy caraway and soft bay leaf. This fruit is balanced with a great flinty minerality. A delightful refreshing wine.

This wine is unfiltered, like many fine, more expensive wines, to preserve as much character and texture as possible. It can have a slight haze at the very bottom of the bottle which can look a bit cloudy when shaken up. But this is all part of the brilliant character and nature of this wine.
Hailing from the subregion of Alcamo in Western Sicily, the Vesco family have been tending vines, olive groves and wheat in this area for 100 years. Since the early 90s, they've revolutionised their farming and cellar practices, and are today combining traditional techniques with modern technology to resounding success. With nearly 100 hectares under vine, they're known as a trailblazer on the island for organic and sustainable viticulture. Meno means less in Italian, so expect less handling, less intervention and less filtering and SO2.
