A richer, more concentrated expression of California Zinfandel where aromas of blackberry, black cherry and blueberry are layered with cocoa, liquorice, vanilla and warming baking spices. The palate is full-bodied yet beautifully balanced, with velvety tannins, vibrant fruit and a long finish of dark berries and sweet spice. Perfect with slow-cooked beef, barbecued ribs or mature Cheddar.

Ancient Vines is sourced from mature, low-yielding vineyards whose deep root systems naturally produce concentrated fruit. Following fermentation, the wine is matured in a combination of French and American oak barrels to add subtle spice and texture while allowing the fruit to remain the star. Careful blending preserves freshness alongside the richness that old-vine Zinfandel is famous for.

Founded by Fred and Nancy Cline in Sonoma County during the 1980s, Cline Cellars has become one of California’s leading family-owned wineries. Best known for championing historic vineyards and sustainable farming, the estate works with some of the oldest Zinfandel plantings in Lodi and Contra Costa County. Their philosophy is simple: protect California’s vineyard heritage while producing wines that are generous, approachable and unmistakably Californian.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom with no minimum order requirement. For Mainland UK deliveries, the following charges apply:

  • £15 for orders below £75
  • £9.99 for orders below £125
  • Free delivery on orders over £125

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 2-4 working days.
