Delivery Information

Sangiovese grapes, carefully selected and harvested by hand. Characterized by natural fermentation, it uses a particular technique which involves the use of 50% whole bunches, giving the wine a unique structure and character. The maturation process takes place in French oak barriques and tonneaux for a period of 14 months.

Located in the highest part of the Cigliano area, Cigliano di Sopra is a historic estate dating back to 1300, now in the capable hands of dynmaic friends Matteo Vaccari and Maddalena Fucile. Prior to taking the reins at Cigliano di Sopra, Matteo and Maddalena worked alongside Sashi Moorman and Rajat Parr at Evening Land, Sandhi, and Domaine de la Côte.
