Hailing from a sensational, highly acclaimed Left Bank vintage, this Second Growth (2ème Grand Cru Classé) powerhouse displays the breathtaking heights achievable through elite regenerative viticulture. It breaks away from hyper-extracted styles, leaning into an intellectual, wonderfully lifted Cabernet expression that honors classic Margaux perfume while boasting modern energy.
It shows a dense, midnight ruby-ink hue with vibrant magenta reflections stretching to the rim. The nose unfurls a deep, aristocratic bouquet of ripe cassis, violet pastilles, and black cherries, seamlessly layered with notes of shaved graphite, cigar box cedar, and a gentle touch of dark cocoa. On the palate, the wine feels remarkably expansive yet poised, steering layers of fresh mountain blackberries and dark plums across a matrix of tightly knit, ultra-fine tannins.
