A beautifully textured northern Italian Chardonnay offering layers of grapefruit peel, ripe pineapple and dried apricot alongside softer notes of hazelnut, acacia honey and melted butter. The palate is generous yet poised, with a savoury mineral edge and a gentle creamy depth from oak ageing. Freshness and salinity keep everything lifted, finishing long, refined and quietly luxurious.

Produced from 100% Chardonnay grown in white clay soils surrounding the castle estate, yields are deliberately kept low through rigorous pruning and careful hand harvesting. The grapes are picked slightly later to build aromatic complexity and concentration before fermentation and ageing in barrique. The wine remains on fine lees with regular bâttonage for around seven to nine months before further bottle ageing. This gives texture, breadth and subtle complexity without overwhelming the fruit.

Nestled in the historic hills of Monferrato, Castello di Gabiano is one of Piedmont's oldest estates. The vineyards sit amongst white clay slopes, where warm days and cool evenings create wines of both richness and freshness. The estate has produced wine for centuries and is today still owned and guided by the Cattaneo Adorno family.
