Description

Wonderful nose with exotic fruit, citrus fruits, more or less intense and always very elegant and intriguing. The palate has fruity notes of citrus and exotic fruit blend with hints of acacia honey to the more mineral notes, which make this wine very long-lived, with excellent structure.

Winemaking is traditional: fermentation is in large wooden vats, maturation in huge Slavonian oak botte holding as much as 5000 litres. The wines are finer and more precise with each passing year. Nascetta almost went extinct apart from a meager lines of vines. It was reborn in 1994 & today there are 20ha, & it is considered one of the great white wines of the Langhe.

located in the heart of Barolo, with prime holdings in the Cannubi vineyard. Dating back to the end of the nineteenth century, the estate has remained small, and has needed to buy in fruit to bulk up quantity. This has now been largely discontinued, with the focus squarely on their own vineyards. It is very much a family enterprise, with three generations involved in the business.
