Description

Cherry red with violet hues. A delightful nose full of red fruit, citrus and spicy notes, with good balance between fruit and oak. The palate has a lovely texture with red fruit and an elegant oak that allow the Grenache to show itself in all its splendour.

Aged 15 months in French oak barrels.

In the eighties, before the Ribera del Duero became a fashionable winemaking area, José Manuel Vizcarra Aguado was a pioneer in planting new vineyards. In 1991 his son Juan Carlos Vizcarra Ramos followed in his father's footsteps and started making first young wines and later aged wines. In 2007, the new facilities were inaugurated in which all the production and aging processes are carried out by gravity, avoiding the use of pumps.
