Description

From one of Italy’s best white wine producers, this Greco di Tufo is medium-bodied with a refreshing minerality. It has lifted aromas of tropical and citrus fruits with delicate hints of apple and bitter almond flavours on the finish.

A great food wine, try it with a pan-fried calamari or grilled swordfish steak with a garlic and mint sauce or even with tartiflette for a wintery pairing.

From 35 years-old vines planted on steep volcanic slopes at 450-600 metres above sea level. Hand harvested and fermented in stainless steel casks, it is then aged for seven months on fine lees and for two months in bottle before release.

The Ferrara family produces tiny amounts of stunning Greco di Tufo from three hectares of vines situated in San Paolo di Tufo in the heart of Campania, where they have been making wine since 1880. Gabriella Ferrara now manages this small estate together with her husband Sergio.
