Produced from Grenache grown in the Barossa Valley, with whole-bunch fermentation bringing aromatic lift, freshness and a gentle savoury complexity. Ageing in concrete tulip-shaped vessels allows the fruit’s purity and delicate structure to shine without the influence of new oak. A modern, lighter expression of Barossa Grenache.

Founded in 2015 in Greenock, in South Australia’s Barossa Valley, Alkina is an exciting estate combining historic vineyards with a fresh, terroir-driven approach to winemaking. Certified organic and biodynamic, the estate is home to old-vine Grenache, Shiraz, Mataro and Semillon, with some plantings dating back to the 1950s. Working alongside renowned Chilean terroir specialist Pedro Parra, Alkina has undertaken an extraordinary study of its soils and geology, identifying individual vineyard parcels with distinctive characteristics. With winemaker Amelia Nolan at the helm, the result is a collection of beautifully expressive wines that favour freshness, elegance and a genuine sense of place over the traditionally powerful Barossa style.

We deliver throughout the United Kingdom with no minimum order requirement. For Mainland UK deliveries, the following charges apply:

  • £15 for orders below £75
  • £9.99 for orders below £125
  • Free delivery on orders over £125

We also offer the option to collect from any of our shops at no extra cost. All Mainland UK orders should be delivered within 2-4 working days.
