Description
Full Fat Red is a full flavoured blend of no less than 6 grapes, hence Full Fat. The port grape Touriga National, Shiraz, Montepulciano, Nebbiolo, Barbera and Monastrell. Its great texture is heightened from maturing the grapes “sur lie" in French Oak Hogshead barrels for 17 months before bottling the pungent, intricate nose of blueberry, dark cherry, earth and spice layered with lifted berry fruit, there are some cedar tannins, with a spicy, refreshing finish. A seriously good and fun wine.
