This expressive small-batch release delivers a structured, texturally complex rethink of English pink wine. Intentionally crafted for the dining table rather than casual poolside sipping, it showcases how low-intervention methods can transform standard cool-climate fruit into something deeply savoury, vivid, and beautifully balanced.
The glass reveals a vibrant, deep copper-pink hue. The nose unrolls an intricate bouquet of tart cranberries, wild field strawberries, and blood orange rind, accented by an underlying hint of dried herbs. On the palate, it feels remarkably broad and mouth-watering, driving juicy red berry layers over a slightly chalky grip and a distinct, savoury creaminess. A crisp, saline-edged acidity gives the finish exceptional length and tension.
