This striking small-batch release marks an exciting shift in contemporary English winemaking, trading sharp acidity for rich, textural depth. Moving away from standard cool-climate profiles, it delivers a beautifully rounded, low-intervention profile that feels completely unique.
In the glass, it shows a luminous pale straw hue. The nose opens with an inviting mix of ripe orchard apricots, green apples, and tropical traces of lychee. The palate feels surprisingly plush and waxy, driving concentrated stone fruit flavors over a layer of clean mineral tension and subtle kitchen spice. Crisp and light-bodied, it glides into a dry, pleasantly savory finish.
