D’Oliveiras is one of Madeira’s great historic producers, founded in 1850 with roots stretching back even further. Still family-owned, the house is renowned for its extraordinary stocks of old vintages and a classic style marked by powerful aromatics, richness, structure and the distinctive tangy freshness of great Madeira. Many wines are kept ageing in cask and bottled only in small quantities as needed.
