Domaine de Noire, Chinon Blanc 2019

Vines are old - between 45 and 70 years old. Yields average 40hl/ha. The fermentation takes place at low temperatures to preserve delicate aromatic qualities. The wine is then aged in 400L oak barrels for 9 months with regular lees stirring.

Domaine de Noire is a renowned wine, located in a place called Noire classified 1st Cotes de Chinon at the beginning of the 20th century.

In 2001, Odile and Jean-Max bought the Domaine de Noire and since then have made every effort to restore it to its original reputation. At the service of wine for more than three generations, the passion for the vine guides their daily work.

With the help of Olivier, a long-time companion, they take care of the land and bring the vines to give the best of the Chinon terroir. The Domaine's philosophy is to offer wines of high expression, representative and faithful to the place where they were born.
